Changchun is located in the center of Northeast Asia Economic Circle around
Japanese Ocean , and is near Mongolia, Russia and Korea. It is one of the
best regions for setting up manufacturing businesses for its favorable situations
of natural resources, labor force and technology availabilities. In the
heart of China’s northeast plain, along with hundreds of small industrial
towns, a cluster of central cities including Dalian, Shenyang, Changchun
and Harbin has formed a strong geographical economic body. Changchun lies
right in the middle between Shenyang and Harbin and has become the transportation
hub and distribution center for the manufacturers in the northeast region
of China. In the zone, major railways extend out to all directions; eighteen
highways including Changchun-Dalian, Changchun-Siping expressways and Changchun-Harbin,
Changchun-Baishan highways pass through the area. The newly renovated Changchun
airport now facilitate many international flights. Through Harbin-Dalian
expressway, it is very convenient to reach Dalian port, one of the busiest
seaports in China.
