China Fair (ECF) is the largest regional trade fair in China with the most
traders, great variety of exhibits and the most onsite deals. As an annul
five day session from March 1st in Shanghai, ECF is co-sponsored by nine
provinces and cities, namely Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi,
Shandong Province and two cities of Nanjing and Ningbo. East China Fair,
initiated in 1991 and thereafter 18 sessions have been held successfully.
The 18th East China Fair had 19,263 business visitors from 145 countries
and regions as well as 60,000 of their Chinese counterparts. The trade volume
amounted to about 3.68 billion US dollars. More than 720,000 persons had
surfed the website of ECF. The 18th East China Fair was held at Shanghai
New International Expo Center , from March 1st to 5th, 2008, with an exhibition
area of 103,500sqm. There were four specialized exhibition areas with 5,346
standard booths that hosted 3,592 enterprises, namely Fashion Garment Show,
Home Textiles Show, Art Deco Stuffs and Gifts Show, Consumer Goods Show.
Overseas exhibitors from 8 countries and regions including USA , France
, Italy , Canada , Japan , South Korea , HK and Taiwan also attended the
East China Fair. A great variety of new and traditional products were exhibited
with strong focus on high-tech ideas and local brand names. The 19th East
China Fair will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Center in March
2009, with an exhibition area of 103,500sqm and 5,000 standard booths available
for rental. At this time, the East China Fair organization committee is
facilitating business talks on transactions, investments and other various
ways and means of cooperation with potential customers and partners. East
China Fair warmly welcomes visitors and exhibitors from all over the world.
