General Hotel Information

The Great Dragon Hotel is one of Beijing's finest luxury business hotels. The hotel was constructed in 1985 under donation by Mr. Pao Yue-Kong, the famous industrialist in Hong Kong. As a quintessence of the cooperation between China and the patriotic Hong Kong businessman, the hotel has been the focus of world-wide attention at home and abroad. President Deng Xiaoping had even inscribed the name for the hotel and attended the business opening ceremony.

The Great Dragon Hotel is located in the center of CBD, Chaoyang District of Beijing, and adjacent to the Pacific Center shopping complex. The hotel is also located near dozens of embassies and consulates. Transportation to and from the Beijing International Airport is convenient with only one traffic light in your way. In addition, it takes only 10-minutes by taxi from the hotel to the Beijing Tiananmen Square and the Wangfujing Business Zone.  There are a total of 258 guestrooms in the hotel. Apart from the Presidential apartment on the top floor and 4 special apartments, the other 253 guestrooms are all luxury business guestrooms. Our hotel is dedicated to business and leisure travelers. In all of our luxury business guest rooms, there includes: A big comforting desk, bright lighting equipment, 2mb bandwidth of DDN facilitating your surfing, magazines on business information and business management, and ten international satellite TV channels in more than ten languages including CNN, NHK and HBO.
